UCI Cycling at the Olympic Velodrome in Stratford - 4th December 2021
Linda & I went to relive a bit of 2012 Olympic atmosphere ...
... in the magnificent Velodrome. I congratulate myself on seat selection - Section 105, Row 4, Seats 70 & 71. We produced our Covid passes for scanning and were in.
Before the start of racing, the current leaders appeared. Being somewhat partisan, we had come particularly to see Katie Archibald and Ed Clancy (his last professional appearance). But for Linda, there were four Canadians which, although a US Citizen herself, she seems to prefer, having come from very close to the US / Canada border in Washington State and, for me, a Trinidadian, Nicholas Paul (who came 6th out of 18 in the Men's Sprint category).
