Margaret in August
Despite the general lack of carers and the increase in number of agency carers, Margaret is generally in a very good mood. The permanent carers with whom (I assume) she is familiar are doing an amazing job despite the circumstances under which they are working.
I am taking her out for a walk around the grounds, along the Strawberry Line or through Thatcher's several times a week. We also usually visit the station every weekend. She skips along - quite a bit of hallucinating now with things like drain covers - and chats away. It is really very enjoyable for me and I do think that my more frequent visits have gone down well.
