My Garden
Quite a busy month (by my standards!).
Julie, my next door neighbour, has moved to Cote Lane and so, under cover of the weekend, Shelagh, Meryl and I tackled the Magnolia which has become too big for its boots (roots?) - anyway it blocked out lots of light and the experts thought, with a serious prune, it might become attractive again. Mind you. the decimation does look a bit weird. Maybe a bit more to come off?

The other excitement has been the rain! Water everywhere, particularly in my gas meter. EDF are completely and utterly hopeless. The meter stopped working in August (another flood, I suspect?). Knowing that 'free' gas would not last for ever, I tried to get EDF to come and replace the meter. In the end (November), they made an appointment, but didn't turn up. So I took them to the Ombudsman (brilliant!). Now they are supposed to be coming on March 5th.
